Updating a sony bios after a new power supply

Rated 4.37/5 based on 839 customer reviews

I've unplugged everything (HD, Optical drive, floppy, external ports, etc.

- even the RAM - always behaves the same way - quick flash of the power LED, half a spin of the CPU cooler fan and then nothing.

I tried clearing CMOS, taking the surge protector out of the equation, changing RAM, even P/S etc.

Finally, I tried removing one case fan from the equation (an Antec, BTW). Eventually, it booted even with the case fan connected. things to get that board to work again, but it did, after more than a week of not working.

This procedure will involve working with live 12VDC electrical potentials which if handled improperly may lead to electrical shock.I ended up getting a Raidmax modular 630W since it had a MIR. Perhaps I will return it and get a Seasonic online.I'm having a similar problem - except I've swapped the PSU - still not working.Anyhow, I ended up reading somewhere (sorry, can't remember where) that others had similar problemswith some NF4 and NF4-SLI based boards. I checked and double checked every wire and they were all installed correctly.
